This is not a long blog full of witty anecdotes and glorious panoramic photos of sunset soaked beaches.
However, I expect a lot of people are searching for some useful information on (relatively) cheap petrol and diesel prices to lower the cost of driving around the Isle of Wight on holiday. On the day I checked, Asda in Newport was the cheapest of the Isle of Wight's petrol stations by a couple of pence (PO30 2QH). The longer answer is that the cheapest petrol on the Isle of Wight can usually be found in one of the five supermarkets with forecourts.
There are - of course - some independent fuel stations and some which are part of other chains. These tend to be more expensive but you may decide it's not worth going out your way to say a couple of pounds.
