Isle of Wight Souvenirs and Gifts
Have you just returned from the Isle of Wight and am now regretting not purchasing that tasteful t-shirt/tea towel/inflatable dolphin?
Fear not, the internet offers a whole world of Isle of Wight souvenirs/merchandise/tat.

Isle of Wight Art Prints
Some Isle of Wight art sold on Etsy is, er, slightly geographically confused. There are images of 'Isle of Wight' beaches that bear no relation to anywhere I've ever been. Thankfully, there are some more accurate ones too - such as this set of Alum Bay and The Needles, Ventnor and Cowes. We've got this trio in our holiday flat in Freshwater Bay, so you could book a week's holiday and stare at ours if you don't want to buy them for yourself (Ed: it may be cheaper to just buy the pictures).
There are some other artsy Isle of Wight gifts that I reckon are classy rather than pointless tat. I quite like this London Underground style map of the Isle of Wight's towns and villages.
Isle of Wight Fun and Games
Looking for something Isle of Wight related for the big kid in your life? How about Isle of Wight Monopoly...guaranteed to end in an argument or another board game called Destination Isle of Wight.
Isle of Wight Clothing
An Isle of Wight tshirt isn't just for your week in August - wear it all year round, the tourist board will love it.
There are plenty of 'I love the Isle of Wight' type t-shirts on Amazon, or you might prefer something related to the Isle of Wight Festival.

Isle of Wight DVDs and Films
There are bucketloads of DVDs about the Isle of Wight Festival online, mostly performances from the 1968-1970 era (such as The Who) but also some from the more modern festivals, which started up in 2002.
But who could forget Annika, the romantic story of Pete Daniels who has a summer job on the Isle of Wight? Well, actually I had never heard of it but according to the review from Shane in Sevenoaks there has been 'consistent internet speculation over the years as to whether it would be issued'. Really?
Or how about Series 7 of Coast, which has picture of The Needles on the cover and nice swooshing shots of the West Wight?
Other televisual wonders can be found in our Isle of Wight TV and Movie Tour.

Isle of Wight Mugs
Amazon offers a mind-boggling range of mostly awful Isle of Wight mugs. There are another 100 or so on Etsy, which are similarly hit and miss.
If you dig around you'll find that there are some half decent ones...including several featuring Isle of Wight slang sold by a small business in Newport called Flo Wight Treasures.

Isle of Wight Books
We enjoyed our copy of I-Spy Isle of Wight, although it's getting a little dated now (I'm refering to the book rather than the Island). Ramblers may prefer an Isle of Wight walking guide (or just read our guide to the best circular walks). For Historians, the guide to 'Villains, Rogues, Rascals and Reprobates' gets good reviews.
Isle of Wight Tat
There are some things in life which don't fit into neat categories. Some call them 'eclectica', others call them 'frip frap' or 'gifts'. I call them tat. I'm not judging though.
